Occupational health service in Cork

Employee absenteeism is a severe issue in many organisations throughout Ireland, with millions of euro lost every year through reductions in productivity owing to illnesses. It is inevitable that staff will need to take sick leave sporadically, but looking after the health of employees is to everyone’s benefit. Therefore, providing a safe and healthy working environment is essential to optimise productivity and staff morale.

Union Quay Medical Centre is Cork’s most comprehensive occupational health service, with our office conveniently located at Union Quay in Cork city. We aim to provide a safe, effective, quality occupational medicine service to our clients and, to that end, we are working towards SEQOHS accreditation, which makes us fully recognised by the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, Royal College of Physicians of Ireland as an occupational health service that has demonstrated competency in satisfying the high standards set out by SEQHOS.

Our service is client-centred and our occupational health specialists would be delighted to meet with you to discuss your occupational health requirements at a time convenient to you.

We will help your organisation promote and maintain the health of your employees. It is well known that the work environment may impact on an employee’s health, and that an employee’s health may impact on their ability to do their job in a safe and efficient manner.
